Although the property market remained challenging during 2011 Chris Davies Estate Agents are pleased to report that there was a significant improvement in sales compared to 2010.

Lending criteria remains tight for those buyers with small deposits but competitive deals are still available to those fortunate enough to have 10 percent or more. Our in-house mortgage broker, Matthew Hooper, will be delighted to assist with independent advice.

Lettings activity remained buoyant during 2010 and we predict a continued demand for rented property throughout the Vale and Cardiff. Property investors are enjoying strong yields and fewer voids than ever before, (just 2.7 weeks per year compared to 4 weeks two years ago).
