We are pleased to announce that our Llantwit Major Branch Manager - Matthew Kingston - a member of Cardiff Academy of Fencing, took part in the Welsh Veterans Closed Championships 2024 in Cardiff this week. Matt fenced his way through two tough fights to secure a place in the final, achieving 1st place in the men's foils!! WELL DONE!!!
Matt discovered fencing when his father set up a club in Llantwit Major many years ago and hasn't looked back since! Matt is entered for the Welsh open later this year. We wish you all the very best Matt.
